If you’re looking for more action and adventure, there’s skydiving and seaplane tours. Or take the Segway and explore the boardwalk. Surf at Half Moon Bay and in the beach communities. Drive down Highway 1 and pick your own seaside town for a relaxing day trip from San Francisco.

If shopping is your thing, then Union Square is the place to be. You’ll find contemporary art galleries alongside Asian art and jewelry made by renowned artists.
