THE BRIDGE

The Golden Gate Bridge defined and became the symbol of San Francisco. Yes, the bridge is not made of gold. However, the international orange color of the bridge was selected because it provides visibility in the fog for passing vehicles such as the ship. It is labeled the busiest bridge in the US with a total of ten lanes. Walk or bike across the bridge to experience the stunning ocean scene where the Bay meets the Pacific Ocean. The impressive skyline can be seen from the sidewalk that stretches the length. Renting a group boat or ferry is another way to see the bridge.

THE ROCK

Alcatraz, an isolated island known as the “rock” that once became a famous name that was home to criminals. It is incredibly beautiful built on its own island that can make you forget it was a prison. The prison has a fascinating history as a federal prison from 1934 to 1963. The most notorious criminals Al “Scarface” Capone and Birdman Robert Stroud stayed on this island.

THE SEA FRONT

Fisherman’s Wharf has an incredible boardwalk. It is a popular destination for all ages. The pier can be reached by cable car. It also has the Pier 39 shopping center and restaurant. Watching the sea lions is a unique experience. The Wharf is a launch point for a San Francisco Bay cruise going to the Alcatraz tour boat. It displays some of the most incredible views of the San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the stunning cityscape.

THE CABLE CAR

San Francisco is best known for the use of cable cars. This classic mode of transport from the end of the 19th century is still used today. Cable cars are still considered one of the top tourist attractions and have become an icon for the city of San Francisco.

THE VIEW

Twin Peaks is in the heart of the city. There is no better place to see the whole city than at the top of the hill. With its panoramic views, it is a must-see on every tourist’s list. Stand at an elevation of 922 feet and take in breathtaking 360-degree views of San Francisco’s most magnificent cityscape.

THE PARK

Golden Gate Park was landscaped in the 1870s. It is the third most visited park. You will admire the beautiful terrain that includes millions of trees, nine lakes and ponds. The park consists of several gardens, including the Arboretum, the Conservatory of Flowers, and the Japanese Tea Garden.

THE SHOPPING TRIP

Shopping in San Francisco includes shopping in exclusive malls and boutiques. With a variety of options, from a legendary department store, Macy’s, to an incredible clothing line, Nordstrom. For bargain shopping deals, visit Vacaville, Gilroy and Napa.

THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

Everybody loves chocolates. Ghirardelli chocolate is delicious. Ghirardelli Square is a large chocolate factory that has been reduced to a chocolate shop and restaurant. The factory is very busy as the torrent of people queuing to buy some chocolates.

THE LOVE

San Francisco is one of the most romantic cities in the United States. The city recently celebrated marriage for all – same-sex marriage. While the ruling received countless opinions from different quarters, no one can stop the torrent of romance in San Francisco.
