put movies on psp

Lots of people have new PSPs today, but many of them don’t know how to put movies on psp. I’m no PSP expert, but I’ve spent some time researching how to put movies on PSP. I will explain how in this short article.

The first thing to know is that the PSP can only play MP4 video files. So if you download or rip any other file formats like AVI, MOV or DIVX etc, you need a software to convert these files to MP4.

I use Imtoo PSP video converter, but you could also use other software psp video converters.

Most psp video converters will allow conversion to MP4. You may also want to make the configuration as follows

Video size: 368×206 or 320×240 due to PSP screen resolution

Video bit rate: 384, 512, 768 Kbps

Frame rate: at least 29 frames per second

Audio sample rate: 24Khz

Audio Bit Rate: 64, 96, 128,160 Kbps

These settings will ensure that the converted movie file can be played smoothly on your PSP.

Once you’ve done that, the next step is to put the converted movie on your PSP.

You must connect your PSP to your computer via the PSP data transfer cable.

If you are using Imtool PSP video converter, please click tools and then psp video manager.

Then click browse to select the mp4 files you want to copy and click move to transfer it to your PSP. That’s all. It’s that easy.

I haven’t used other PSP video conversion software, but they should work just the same. As you can see, it’s not that hard to put movies on psp.
