Africa loves to give and also appreciates when someone comes back to say thank you. Although endowed with great resources and hard-working people, it is logical that one cannot get ahead alone. This can be well understood by looking at what contribution visitors can make when visiting Africa. Tourism would not only help attract foreign exchange, but another resource would be the development of ideas and help protect the sale of organs of endangered species.
Africa has great scholars who have gone to foreign countries to work or further their education. Idea development comes when someone outside the locale suggests funding a project that would improve the condition of those with whom she is interacting. Different organizations are being formed to help create a work program that tourists can participate in when visiting Africa. Some have gone as children’s home visitation, educational exchange program and even environmental conservation.
Africa will highly appreciate when our visitors contribute to the above program. No matter which part of Africa you visit, always ask if there are any endangered species. You may buy a souvenir only to realize later that it belongs to one of the endangered species. If this happens or continues to happen one day, there will be no wildlife. There will be nowhere for sightseeing. Through the exchange of ideas we will all learn to rebuke evil. Let’s learn to protect Africa.
