Pricing and license model for Woo Themes (at the time this article was published)
This is one of the trickiest things about Woo Themes as a premium WordPress theme developer. You can choose to purchase a single theme or a club membership that gives you access to all themes. There are several options no matter which path you choose.
Options for purchasing a single theme include:
- Standard package: Your chosen theme plus 2 bonus themes. The license allows you to use the theme on as many websites as you like and you receive lifetime access to updates to all three themes. The one-time fee is $70.
- Developer Pack: your chosen theme plus 3 bonus themes and PSD file. The license allows you to use the theme on as many websites as you like and you receive lifetime access to updates to all four themes. You can make any changes you want using the PSD file. The one-time fee is $150.
- Business package: Select themes are business themes that include advanced features not found in other themes. No additional themes are given, but you do receive everything else that comes with the developer pack, including PSD files. The one-time fee is $200.
- Options to join the club include:
- Standard subscription: Unlimited access to all themes plus at least 2 new theme releases every month. Access to support services and all theme updates are included. PSD files are not used for themes. The one-time initial fee is $125, then the monthly club fee is $15.
- Developers Club: the same terms as the Standard option, but you have access to PSD files for all themes. The one-time initial fee is $200 and the monthly club fee is $20.
Woo Themes uses a private service for payment processing that accepts all major credit cards as well as Paypal, as long as you pay in US dollars. If you are subscribing to a subscription service, you will not be able to cancel the subscription on your own. You must contact the company before the subscription renews to cancel it.
PSD files with purchase of Woo themes
PSD files are included with select membership packages. Please refer to the information in Licensing and Pricing Model above to see which packages include these files.
All image logos are meant to be samples and there is a simple process on the site where you can replace it with your own logo. You don’t need Photoshop or any other program to do this!
Woo Theme Support
All support is handled through an open support forum where Woo staff answer questions and help resolve issues with the installation or operation of all themes. Like most other premium services for WordPress theme developers, Woo Themes will not answer questions or resolve issues via email or phone.
Access to the support forum and basic technical support continues even if you cancel your subscription. You also receive updated versions and fixes for purchased themes, even if you are not a current club member.
