What is a tube brush, you ask? Well, its name says a little, if not all, about its shape, and this handy tool can help you clean those hard-to-reach places you’ve been eyeing longingly for. A tube brush will make your life easier in the kitchen when you’re trying to get into those little spaces at the bottom of those miniature items that were so cute when you bought them. Now, they’re not that pretty, but they can be lovely again with a little love.
Other items you may not have thought of are also candidates for a tubular brush date. I’m thinking about that coffee pot, which pours much better afterwards, and why not the teapot too? Anything sculpted, including those lovingly crafted vases of flowers and school projects, will be easier to keep tidy and germ-free.
Then there are those refillable plastic bottles and cups, and their accompanying straws, that are lined up next to your sink awaiting attention, instructions, a trip to the nearest dumpster… don’t let dirt win. Get something to clean them properly, instead of wasting your hard earned money. If you’re cleaning out your cabinets, you’re sure to find other items that could use a touch or two of a flexible brush. You might even discover nooks and crannies you never knew existed in some of those fancy cups and sugar bowls, which you’ll be able to clean properly.
And, when the time comes to choose small Christmas decorations or housewarming gifts, this little number will be greatly appreciated. Outside of the kitchen, there may be enough reasons to get an extra pair of brushes. Those power tools and their bits and pieces could be well served by something that can reach into the back corners when moving the table isn’t an option.
Such a brush could also be useful in other rooms of the house. When you need something flexible, thin, and stiff enough to go behind that sofa, your brush might be up to the task. So now that you are fully aware of the definition and function of such a brush, you can go to bed smarter. Don’t forget to share the information with other people who might appreciate being able to clear your counter too. And once you get the hang of this little tool, you may need to share it with others who want to help with chores. This is one of those moments when you want to wash the floor after doing the dishes, but life is for living.
If you think the sink may be too big, set up another area, outside if feasible. Let your kids play with some unbreakable dishes and that brush. They will have a lot of fun, and it is good practice for later in life. It will not be long. A tube brush can be a useful little friend in the kitchen and can be fun to use, even for little helpers. Just make sure you wear boots!
