Would you like to have more time?

According to quantum physics, time doesn’t really exist. In fact, Einstein postulated that the past, present, and future happen simultaneously.

While that may be true, most of us live by the clock and time is very real to us. We often lead such busy lives that the thought of having more of that precious resource we call time would be a godsend.

Many successful but overly busy Americans now view time as an even more precious resource than money, often feeling rich in cash but short on time.

we are always in a hurry. According to Google, if a website is more than 250 milliseconds slower than a competitor, we move on. However, if an online video takes longer than 5 seconds to load, we’re out.

We’re so fixed in time that there’s even a “death clock” that counts down how long you have left to live.

Everyone has the same 24 hours each day. But what if you could game the system? What if you could extend the time?

It was about twenty years ago when I started playing with time. I was in the process of completing my master’s degree. At night. After working all day. All I wanted to do, after such a long day, was get home to my husband and dog. And my bed! The class ended at 9:50 pm and it was a 20 minute ride home. And yet, I wanted to be home by 10:00. Impossible, right?

As soon as class was over, I began to affirm, “I’ll be home at 10:00.” I didn’t look at the time on the way home and just stayed focused on being home by 10:00. And would you believe it? Almost every time, as she was driving to the garage, the digital clock read exactly 10:00!

Through the years, I have continued to play with the expansion of time. Recently, she had a 6:30 appointment and wanted to make a stop before then. According to the clock, I didn’t have enough time. This is the scenario that played out in my head:

Be inside: “What do you want?”

To me: “I want to do both and I have plenty of time.”

Inner Being, who does not believe in lack and limitation: “You can have whatever you want.”

So I proceeded to do both and even made it to my 6:30 appointment with time to spare. Being able to expand a “scarce resource” like time is so much fun!

Most people knowledgeable about the Law of Attraction accept that you can have anything you want if you are willing to let go of limiting beliefs. So it should be possible to create more time if you think you can.

Have so many expressions that make us feel like we never have enough time. Notice how you feel when you think:

* I’m always pressed for time.

*As time permits.

* I’m always hurry.

*I run out of time.

* There are not enough hours in the day.

Now notice how you feel when imagine that time is on your side:

*I have all the time in the world.

*Time is my friend.

* My time is mine.

* I have a lot of time.

*I move at my own speed, always feeling relaxed.

It is your choice: the lack of time or the abundance of time. Test it. Set your intention to get somewhere or accomplish a task in less time than it normally takes and see what happens. Remind yourself throughout the day that you have the luxury of time to do everything you want to do.

Knowing that I can expand time, I wonder if I can speed it up too?. I think I’ll try it at the dentist’s appointment next week!
