Swing your golf club around your neck

I know this may sound strange, but the swing designed to balance your golf club around your neck is not bad at all. In a way, it will simplify the golf swing for many golfers who struggle with consistency and even power. There’s so much wasted motion during a swing (you should know), that it wreaks havoc on hitting the ball. Causing strikes from the toe of his club, the heel (or even hozel, the dreaded shank), as well as fine and finishing strikes, leading to a poor result.

So what is this thought of swinging around your neck, right?

Well, your head is the heaviest part of your body, so where your head goes, your body quickly follows, right? So if you walk away from the ball with your head on the serve, you will swing (or slide with your body as well). For every wasted move going back, you need to double it going down to get back into a relatively consistent hitting position for solid shots that go straight.

This is just extra junk that shouldn’t be in your swing to begin with.

So to make this simple, all you need to think about is keeping your head steady when you go back and down. I know it sounds too easy, but it’s actually quite easy to do. They always say, remove your swing thoughts to 1 or 2, especially when you’re playing. How about lowering it to UNO?

If you can just think of your shoulders turning around your neck, you can master this game. So the result should be that your right shoulder snaps back (not to the side) immediately; with the feeling of that rotation around the neck and upper spine. Rotate your right shoulder as far back as you can, and you’ll be doing the biggest backswing you’ve ever done. Now your core is ready to unleash all that coil and power on your losing streak.

So all you have to think about going down is to have your left shoulder rotate immediately as you lower your arms, so that you come down on the plane and not over the top. When you do this new downward motion, you’ll be amazed at how much stored energy you have without swinging really hard, which causes tension, and tension slows your swing.

So remember, your new thought is “Slam your golf club around your neck”.
