How to dress stylish without spending a lot of money on clothes

Your personal color preferences, your type of figure, form of activity, lifestyle and sphere of interests will give you a starting point to create your own unique style.

So, first of all, you need to pay attention to wardrobe staples.
Wardrobe basics are neutral pieces that you can easily combine with the others. For example, it can be a pencil skirt in neutral colors or skinny pants that, depending on the occasion, you can combine with a conservative white shirt or a boho-style blouse. A little black dress should become an essential piece of the basic wardrobe; in fact, it can help you on almost any occasion.

However, avoid buying the same things.
In this way you will give the impression that you have the habit of wearing the same things for years. At least it’s boring. Don’t be afraid to experiment. If your wardrobe is too monotonous in color, add a couple of color accents to it. Don’t be too fond of conservative clothing – a romantic floral print dress or polka dot blouse will surely cheer you up.

It is better to eradicate the impulse buying habit.
Do not succumb to advertisements and do not blindly follow fashion. Clothes should serve you and emphasize your best sides. First of all, you must feel psychologically comfortable. If, for example, a skirt is shorter than you like, you will feel insecure and it is unlikely that this skirt will become your favorite. Or maybe you will never use it. When buying something new, you should also remember all the other components. It is not very practical to buy, for example, a fashionable crop top, if later you have to pick up pants, shoes, a jacket, etc. And after all, you will understand that the high-waisted butt and open belly do not suit you.

Love yourself for who you are!
Don’t buy undersized pieces. Throw away illusions – clothes that are small, play a cruel joke on us and visually add a couple of extra pounds.

Don’t buy very cheap clothes.
It is better to buy one quality item instead of ten – “disposable”. Cheap clothes are usually made of poor-quality fabrics, which can even harm your health. What can I say about the fit? And what will become of him after the first wash? Oh no, it’s better not even imagine it.

Dress according to the occasion.
It’s not a good idea, for example, to wear gladiator sandals to an official event and stiletto heels to a beach party.

Don’t run to extremes.
I adore Lady Gaga, but as we know, where there’s a whole team of stylists behind every look, and what’s good on stage isn’t good for a subway ride. In everyday life you should give preference to practical and comfortable clothes.

Do not forget about accessories and shoes.
After all, if you complete the same little black dress with sneakers and a leather jacket, and put it in a ponytail, you can safely go for a walk or have coffee with your friends. But in combination with the golden stilettos, the clutch and an evening necklace, it will be a perfect look to go to an official event.

Remember the words of the legendary Coco: “Fashion passes, style remains.”
