Childhood memories and personalized books

Childhood memories are very powerful and are shaped by our children’s experiences, whether good or bad. Our lives as adults can be shaped by our childhood memories, as every aspect of our adult life is affected by our childhood experiences. Growing up makes one realize and lose the simplicity of childhood. Decisions that must be made in childhood are made easily and with little lasting effect. I wish everything in our adult life was so easy and stress free. The memories of our childhood are the roots from which our adult goals are born. Our expectations, perspectives, attitudes, and even our vision of life are influenced by the memories and experiences we had in our childhood.

Recalling some of the special childhood memories, the quiet and comfortable memories maybe on a porch swing or in the backyard. Maybe you were like me and enjoyed the rain storms in the spring, you would take a blanket and throw it over a couple of dining room chairs making a tent in a quiet part of the house and enjoy an afternoon with some of my friends. favourites, books The places you could go, the experiences you could be a part of and not even leave the house. Those who understand the experience need me to explain why they have enjoyed the same activity and those who do not understand the attraction for a quiet moment with life’s most cherished treasures; there are no words to help you understand attraction. Just deep sadness on my part at the inability you will never have to enjoy the travels and adventures that the rest of us have enjoyed in our secret hideaways.

When the children came into my husband and my life, reading and sharing stories was a very important thing for me to experience with them. They read too much in private, usually during the day, catching a story here or there while the brothers were asleep or out of the house. The afternoons were for combined reading where the children met in a bed and a chapter of a shared novel was read. His dad was the master of story time, he didn’t take his stories from books that contained the plot of another story, he created his own with the contributions of little minds lulled by sleep but not yet ready to release the narrator. .

Having such sweet memories from my own childhood and presenting the same experiences to my own children, I am constantly looking for alternatives to create childhood memories for children in today’s society. The other forms of entertainment that are presented to a child, such as television, video games, computers, the joy of books is often left out.

There’s a new and unique twist on the standard story; a personalized storybook I’ve had parents tell me their kids don’t like to read, that might be true, but read them a storybook that’s about them. There is no child who does not like a story about them. These personalized books use the child’s own name, his age, the place where he lives. Making the child the star of the story! Up to four favorite friends or even pets can be included in the child’s story. Looking for a unique gift, these little children’s books are great because there is a dedication page that tells the child a special message and who the book is from. There are many different stories; Most of a child’s favorite characters can be found in a book like Sesame Street, Spiderman, Marvel Heroes just to name a few. Does your son like sports? They can be the star in their own football, soccer or sports betting. There are books for princesses and even animal lovers.

So if the kids are bored or fighting and just need a little attention, just drag the bedspread off the bed, throw it over a couple of chairs, grab some fun books, and spend some quality time with the kids. SShhh, no one else is looking to go make some memories.
