Astral paralysis: how bad can it be?

When astral projection or travel is taking place, the person will experience a certain degree of physical paralysis which is known as astral paralysis. This only indicates that the split of the mind has already occurred in one way or another. In astral paralysis, the physical body faces difficulties on different levels while animating when the mind split effect is still active.

Although the physical or etheric body of the projector may not be aware that a projection is taking place, they may feel complete physical paralysis or some amount of lethargy and a feeling of heaviness along with disorientation in the physical body. The extent of this depends primarily on the strength of the projection and the amount of energy used to keep it in a stabilized state. Sensations like these, which are quite strong, indicate that astral projection is taking place.

Conversely, it can also be said that the degree of paralysis is proportional to the strength of the astral projection. A full power real time astral projection will lead to complete physical paralysis which is nothing more than total waking paralysis. On the other hand, a comparatively lighter degree of projection may still allow the person’s physical body to stagger into the next room while muttering something incoherent. It would probably feel like he was walking on pillows feeling a bit of numbness in the body and with a fuzzy mind that is also ambulatory in nature.

Astral paralysis is also known as waking paralysis and is sometimes called sleep paralysis as well. In addition to astral projection, paralysis also occurs at other times, such as out-of-body experiences (OOBEs) and near-death experiences (NDEs). Waking paralysis will also occur in cases where a body has been generated in real time within the physical or etheric body, but the actual separation of the astral and physical body has not yet occurred. In other words, it also occurs in cases where full astral projection has not been achieved. This, in turn, indicates the occurrence of a partial projection, even if only internal, and this clearly leads to some degree of waking paralysis.

The astral double in real time, in this particular case, has not been completely projected out of the physical body. When this is suspected to have occurred, the projector needs to simply relax and let it happen, or perhaps you can use a projection technique such as the rope technique. Your will will lead to the occurrence of a full projection in the event that it has not yet been achieved.

There are many people who have been tormented by the thought of sleep paralysis. Yes, it is true that paralysis can be a terrifying experience that can even cause psychological damage to the projector.

The best way to break sleep paralysis is to focus on one big toe and try as hard as you can to move it. Give it all you’ve got and try really hard to wiggle that big toe. Once the toe moves, even just a little, it will automatically return to normal.
