5 great tips to teach your ex a valuable lesson

That lesson is: You shouldn’t have parted with me.

Relationships can be very precarious. One minute you get along like a house on fire, the next you scream, someone says something they regret and it’s over!

Has this happened to you?

I know very well how disturbing and stressful this can be. So instead of doing something rash, you can plan what to do and be more successful. The instinct is there to lash out at your ex, to make him understand how bad you feel, but that’s the opposite of what you should do, assuming you want him back.

These 5 tips will allow you to get a non-hurtful revenge, AND they will most likely lure your ex back to where you want him.

  1. Pretend it doesn’t hurt inside. Don’t be creepy or your ex will think you don’t care. You just don’t feel in a bad mood because they dumped you, and act like you’re getting on with your life.
  2. Reduce contact. This is very important. Don’t text, email, or call. People always want what they can’t have and being distant can make you mysterious and desirable. Even think about not answering their calls and texts the instant they do.
  3. Be reasonable. Instead of fighting every time you see your ex because you are angry about the situation, be fair and polite. Being visibly unhappy, angry, or upset will push your ex away.
  4. Network. Or if you’re not a pretentious yuppie, socialize. Knowing that you are away from home, meeting new people can cause a bit of jealousy, and that’s a good thing. However, do not rub your nose or you risk having your hands washed.
  5. Remember who you were when you met your ex. There was a reason the two of you got together. Remind them and yourself what it was. Stop taking each other for granted.

Following these 5 easy steps will not only help you recover, in a pleasant way of course, but it will also make it much more likely that you will get your ex back.
