I find fascinating (in a kind of social experiment) the fanatical, er, passionate reactions I got from my “friends” on FB when I posted President-elect Joe Biden’s “political tricks” on stimulus controls. I deliberately posted the comment on January 15 (MLK’s birthday). Why? MLK was a fierce defender of the Universal Basic Income (UBI) during his lifetime. In other words, we should receive at least 2K per month during the pandemic instead of the 2K proposed for a single year. Interestingly, other OECD countries are giving their citizens up to 7 thousand per month in UBI. As of December, Australian citizens have earned 24K since their cumulative UBI pandemic.

If you think in pennies, you get pennies! If you think in dollars, you get dollars!

Let’s not settle for hundred-dollar wine, five-cent wine, and ten-hundred wine. On the contrary, let’s go for the dollar wine! Don’t settle for a small change! Don’t sell yourself cheap! Don’t settle for less!

What would MLK have done?

He would advocate for an UBI as he fervently did during his lifetime.

With that said, get on the backs of Biden and the Democrat to live up to MLK’s dream in action, not just in words.

And for those of you who continue to call me a locked-in Republican, I raised and donated over $ 1K (public record / documented) to the Biden-Harris ticket. So I put my money where my mouth is … And I will handle your case the same way other interest groups do.

Yes, Biden-Harris and the Democrats can do more for the dying and suffering American people in the same way that MLK held JFK and LBJ accountable during their lifetime. And for his actions, he paid with his life.

I’m not MLK, but I won’t give in I will not break. I will never back down. I will never ever give up on my fellow Democrats (blue MAGAs) in highlighting the “political traps” of the Democrats.

The crunchiest wheel gets the most oil.

MLK took on LBJ even after the latter advanced through the Great Society. Unfortunately, nefarious forces killed MLK on the eve of its Great March on Washington, DC. He planned for both poor blacks and whites to march with him. And one of the pillars of the Long March was the UBI.

Happy MLK Day – Let’s not just celebrate it, let’s live it!
