Usually, once you stop subvocalizing, it will be much easier to investigate political issues and make sure politicians do their job properly. Once you can stop the subvocalization, it will also be possible to uncover evidence of corruption and other things that place an unnecessary burden on taxpayers. In a sense, you can think of learning how to stop subvocalization as a key element in restoring the wealth of the nation in a way that is better for the common people.

Even if your teachers forced you to subvocalize when you were little, it’s a useless habit that needs to be broken. Getting rid of this habit will usually double your reading and comprehension speeds. Without a doubt, all students should stop subvocalizing after fifth grade. Unfortunately, there are very few people currently making a specific demand to ban this practice. That being said, once an individual changes, they will be in a much better position to demand that politicians make some significant and necessary changes to the education system.

After successfully stopping subvocalization, anyone will be able to:

o Successfully demand changes in the way children are taught reading skills

o Ensure that politicians generate meaningful and useful changes in the education system

o Develop an interest in political issues and their effect on everyday life.

o Tell others about the discoveries you have made about the implications of various policies and laws.

To develop these skills, practice reading at a rate faster than you can read aloud, and scan faster with your eyes. All this will help you stop subvocalizing.
