Chicago is a great city that has the sophistication of a large metropolitan city with the friendliness of the Midwest, all located on beautiful Lake Michigan. Chicago truly has the best of both worlds in many ways, combining urban with lakeside outdoors and fast-paced city with the laid-back friendliness found in the Midwest. Lincoln Park is just north of downtown and is the most affluent area of ​​Lake Shore Drive and is the largest park in the city of Chicago. This park has 15 baseball fields and a golf course in addition to other sports areas as well. Many businesses in nearby Lakeview East attract the gay and lesbian community and combine with the sports arena surrounding Wrigley Stadium, making for a diverse mix.

Many people hear about the Magnificent Mile when the topic of Chicago comes up. This area is the mile-long stretch in the center of Michigan Avenue that runs from the Chicago River to Oak Street. It is the main thoroughfare of the Loop business district and the Gold Coast further north. It is the ideal place for shopping and dining and the perfect location as a visitor to stay in one of the many wonderful hotels. The Magnificent Mile is believed to be the center of everything in Chicago and that is why it also attracts so many tourists.

The final area is the Gold Coast, which is the wealthiest neighborhood in Chicago. It has high-rise apartments on Lake Shore Drive, as well as beautiful gray stone buildings further inland. This neighborhood is also home to unique boutiques and top designer stores to attract the wealthy residents who live there.
