Dieting is for losers! Are you addicted to diet?

Millions of us are still struggling to lose fat, trying one new diet after another, new diet pills, prescription pills, or the latest killer star-studded workout CD. What we need to remember is that we are all built differently, not only on the outside but also chemically, on the inside. And at the end of the day, while most of us might have been successful on our fabulous new diet for a while, others are busy regaining their weight, maybe even more. Because? Because we need to stop dieting! Dieting is making us fat. Dieting is for losers! Is it possible that we love to keep hitting our self-esteem; or are we addicted to diet?

I tried Dr. Atkins in high school, the grapefruit diet, the cabbage soup diet (I can’t believe I saw a recipe today for the cabbage soup diet), the all-salad diet, even simple starvation. Detoxifying our body with pills to clean our colon, but at the same time diuretics are eliminating vital fluids. Hunger never worked for anyone and it’s still just as dangerous as it once was.

Some of us got into real trouble, maybe even close to death and had no choice but to go for the most dangerous surgery or we could die. We can staple our stomach or even remove the fat. These procedures are dangerous, invasive, and extremely painful. Not a very good fat solution for those of us who still have some control over our own fat loss. Unless our lives are in imminent danger, we’d better take a hard look at what we’re really trying to accomplish. Always remember that obesity could be our own death sentence.

If it is not obesity that affects us, many other diseases or conditions caused by obesity, such as diabetes, heart disease or cancer, will. The list is long and just as deadly. It’s a disgusting vicious cycle that we are addicted to. We keep chasing our dreams and goals down the rabbit hole, right after all our hard-earned money. As today’s society, we’ve been trained like rats to chase the next biggest and best name in weight loss, no matter the cost.

When we hear the sound of a new pill with ingredients from some faraway country that has just come on the market, we must try it because it is making the promise that we could lose weight without exercising. Even Dr. Oz has put his name on the latest and greatest pill that already has millions chasing it.

At the age of 56, I’ve already had a hysterectomy, had my thyroid removed, and then last year had my gallbladder removed emergency. So I’m wondering if I’m in the worst shape of all to be able to lose weight. The hormones we are supposed to have working for us to lose a single pound? Mine are gone. I can tell you with certainty that I will need a lot of help to lose the extra 80 pounds that I need to lose. Obviously I will need outside help for which I must insist that it come in the form of organic compounds that support natural weight loss.

You can imagine the relief I felt when I read “Stop dieting, dieting is for losers, dieting just doesn’t work anymore, or are you a diet addict?” I no longer felt like a failure. Interestingly, my new doctor asked me this very question the other day, about dieting addiction and weight loss!

It is important that our body and our brain feel satiated, satisfied, full, happy after having eaten. We must have those feelings until our next meal. Without those specific feelings, we are doomed to fail over and over again. Without those feelings of contentment, feelings of being utterly stuffed, we’d be back in the pantry throwing food down our old throat. It’s not a pretty picture, I know.

Today I know that the only thing that made me fat was dieting. I unknowingly kept flipping the switch when I was on a diet. Knowing that many scientists, doctors, specialists and anyone else involved in the weight loss industry are all well aware that diets make people fat! Not only me. but we are all fat because we are following your recommendations! “Take this pill and you can eat what you want, when you want, and you don’t even have to exercise”? Do you really believe that statement? I have a bridge and an island in New York to sell you very cheap if you believe it even for a moment.

What have those people done to people like us? It makes me so angry and it makes me angry like a wet chicken. I hope you feel the same way. How much weight have you been able to maintain? These people know that dieting is making us fat! I know how I feel about it; How do you feel about the fact that these industries that claim to help us are the same people that keep feeding us all kinds of dietary crap? I’m telling you right here, now, that dieting is for losers! When my new doctor asked me “are you addicted to dieting”? I didn’t know what to say, honestly.

I have invested so much money in doctors, pharmaceutical companies, bookstores, magazine distributors, even movie stars and fitness gurus. All the big industries making millions of dollars every year from millions of you and me, looking for the next secret sauce diet.

More good news? There is no secret diet, there is no special sauce and there is no secret “diet” sauce; dieting doesn’t work. Stop dieting now, today, be done with it. We are killing ourselves with diets. You and I; we have to do something else like change our whole lifestyle! Starting with how we eat.

Enough is enough! Are we ready to accept the reality of how we can change our situation? Do it and enjoy it, let it be something fun, make it happen and stop stressing about it! I just started and it is quite easy because there is no stress in my life anymore. I’m not on a diet anymore and I don’t have to diet anymore! I just changed my entire eating pattern. Now is your turn!

The best way and the only way to lose weight is to make sure that we eat; fill our bellies with whole, real food. Don’t get up in the morning and stuff yourself with cereal, wheat, puffed rice, toast, pancakes, waffles, not even milk products! It is nothing more than a high protein breakfast and lunch. The type of protein you eat also makes a big difference, so don’t go without and buy a protein powder at your local store!

Your dinner should be massive protein and slow carbs. This can be really delicious and it doesn’t have to be boring, dull or ugly. Have a glass of red wine with dinner if that’s your wish. Good luck and good eating.
