3 ways for tennis clubs to grow their email list

As the owner of a tennis club.

You need to focus on getting your staff to grow your email list on a daily basis and to do that they will need to take consistent daily action.

Before getting into the tips.

Let’s take a look at why you want to do this in the first place, and get your staff to focus their full attention on doing it.

“With a huge email list, you can offer big discounts or something free and then sell more to your members.”

You can use email to drive more traffic to your club on weekdays during slow times.

Also, you can use affiliate offers and profit from them!

We could go on and on, but you get the message.

Now here are 3 tips to get you started that can help you start building your email list.

1) Collect your email offline.

This is the easiest and the first thing you should start doing.

Instruct your staff to collect the emails of everyone who comes to your club.

And that means everyone.

Offer a cheap tennis gift or something, but do whatever it takes to get their email, and then import those emails into an autoresponder.

(I use Mailchimp and it’s free to sign up and they allow you to get up to 5000 members before they charge you)

Which is a great deal!

Okay, next.

2) Offer a free event.

This is another great way to build your email list.

Host a free event and ask your members to invite their friends and family to attend.

I would give free clinics in the morning and then do a round robin in the afternoon and end the event with a free barbecue. (Nothing expensive, just hot dogs and hamburgers)

Then make sure everyone who comes that is not a member signs a form and gives their email address.

Sorry, let’s take it even further than that.

Ask them to give their phone number and address.

In this way.

You can use direct mail and keep in touch with them with more offers in the future.

With this tip, you can use it to triple your memberships in no time.

By the way, it is also my favorite of all.

Last tip.

3) Use YouTube.

Upload videos and then request your email in exchange for a free visit to your club or ebook,

YouTube is the one marketing channel that many clubs don’t use.

And the ones that are using it, never use an autoresponder and some don’t even add their websites.

Just watch some of his videos.

YouTube gets backlinks and if you use the right keywords.

Many of your videos will appear on the first page of Google.

Your club can use videos for testimonials and promotions.

But be sure to add an autoresponder in the description part.

These are really the only 3 things you need to do to grow your email list.

And here is the best part.

By doing this weekly or monthly, the activities will complement each other and you will continue to grow your list and membership!

You can then maintain your growth by using a referral system.
